Isabella "Z" Vergun is a writer, storyteller, and all-around tiny hurricane. They have been described by friends (and enemies) as "scrappy," "punchy," and "good at convincing other people to help them move." A graduate from the John Wells Division of Writing for Screen & Television MFA program at USC, Z has received many accolades for their work, including Quarterfinalist in the Academy Nicholl Fellowships, Winner of the DIVERSITY Feedback Film Festival, and two-time Finalist in the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival Screenplay Competition.

When not hunting for ghosts or hyper-fixating on TTRPGs, Isabella likes picking fights with men over six feet tall, dinosaurs, and the moon. After an adolescence of raging aimlessly against the smallest state in the union, Isabella wanted nothing more than to become an adult as fast as possible. Now they pay rent and have regrets.

While writing is Z's main pursuit, they also offer research, transcription, organization, and copy-editing services, as well as ghostwriting and creating pitch presentations. They have had the pleasure of working with creators such director Alma Har'el, comedy writer Bobby Bowman and actress/writer Ginger Gonzaga.

Isabella uses they/them pronouns.
